Office Building provides 98,284 sq.ft of CAT B open plan office space, above a reception area and restaurant.
Built off a concrete frame with an SFS steel framed roof structure, the Office Building’s external envelope is rainscreen cladding with ribbon windows and curtain walling to the entrance of the building.
The Technical Building provides laboratories, workshops, and technical spaces, with a vast external service yard.
Accommodates a 9m high roller shutter door which provides access to a vibration bay, and corridors designed to measure 4m wide to allow large items of testing equipment to be transferred into the appropriate laboratory.
The Technical Building is also steel-framed and has a composite concrete mezzanine slab across approximately 80% of the floor plate.
External envelope is composite cladding to the walls and roof with several large access doors.
The two structures are joined together by a link building which boasts feature lighting and a coffee bar.
The external works package comprises a vehicle calibration track, and service and delivery yards, as well as hard landscaping to provide a re-designed entrance area with additional parking spaces.
