SDC has successfully completed Brooklands, a cutting-edge business campus designed to meet the evolving needs of tech companies while prioritising sustainability and well-being.
The 67,000 sq ft development, located in one of the UK’s greenest cities provides high-quality, future focused office space across two buildings.
The campus features a four-storey Building B and two-storey Building A, both incorporating innovative design elements such as roof terraces and a tranquil courtyard, and 300 secure cycle spaces. These features promote collaboration, reduce environmental impact and promote employee well-being.
Brooklands is Cambridge’s first net-zero carbon office development, achieving EPC A+ ratings and surpassing the 2025 RIBA Climate Challenge and LETI 2030 space heating and cooling targets. With a commitment to fossil-free operation, improved air quality and high levels of fresh air ventilation, the development exemplifies sustainable design.
With Brooklands now handed over, SDC is proud to have delivered a project that sets a new benchmark for environmentally responsible workspaces and reaffirms Cambridge’s position as a hub for innovation and collaboration.
