Construction has long been a male-dominated industry, but progress is being made. In 2025, women represent 15% of the UK construction workforce – a 4% increase in just the last five years. This shift marks the beginning of a promising change, with more women considering careers in construction and companies reaping the benefits of a diverse workforce.
