Our Management Trainee Scheme is designed for ambitious school and college leavers who are motivated, confident, and eager to build a long-term career in the construction industry.

We are recruiting trainees to work on projects across Bedford, Cambridge and Oxford, giving you hands-on experience in live environments where you’ll contribute from the outset.

What You’ll Do

As a Management Trainee at SDC, you will:

  • Rotate through key departments to develop a complete understanding of how we deliver projects
  • Work alongside experienced professionals across the full project lifecycle: from concept and planning through to delivery and completion
  • Contribute to live construction projects while building commercial, technical and leadership skills
  • Learn how collaborative working with our clients drives successful outcomes

You will receive:

  • A bespoke training plan tailored to your qualifications and career ambitions (12 months to 3 years)
  • Structured rotations across disciplines within the business

For the right candidates, we will fully fund part-time academic study, including apprenticeship pathways or construction-related qualifications

Qualifications

  • A Levels (or equivalent) preferred
  • Minimum GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Maths
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Driving license preferred
