Construction of three new modular buildings.
Provides a separate single storey isolation ward and a 60-bed Regional Surge Facility.
Work comprised site clearances, demolition, drainage, incoming electrical and mechanical services, foundations.
External work consisted of new canopies and a tunnel to connect into the underground network at Addenbrookes hospital.
Silent sheet piled concrete basement, fully fitted out with finishings and services, as well as all new build external plant buildings to support the new facilities.
As part of SDC’s CSR, the existing summer quadrant was refurbished to provide patients with a nice new space to relax in.
