The extension is clad in a combination of curtain walling and brickwork to complement the existing architecture and is topped with a standing seam curved roof.
The new extension houses three microscopes on the ground floor, whilst the first floor accommodates open space above the microscope rooms for services and access.
External roof top space utilised for cooling units.
