Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony
A foundation stone laying cermony took place on Friday 17th October to mark the construction of Anjulita Court, a 62 place care home in North Brickhill, Bedford.
SDC are proud to be involved with this prestigious design and build development which is a partnership between The Ibbett Trust, a local Bedfordshire trust and MHA (Methodist Homes for the Aged), a national charity providing services for over 12,500 people. The facility will provide care for local older people with dementia and nursing needs. Clifton Ibbett, Chairman of the Ibbett Trust welcomed the guests to what he described as a realisation of an ambition he has had for over 30 years.
The Bishop of Bedford Rt Rev Richard Inwood and Mrs Brenda Plumbly Trustee of the Ibbett Trust performed the ceremony.
Construction is expected to be complete in October 2009.
